Katie Price has suffered a miscarriage following a Christmas pregnancy. Despite the heartbreak, she aims to grow her family and raise awareness about miscarriage by collaborating with a charity. Previously told she was perimenopausal, she’s exploring avenues like IVF or surrogacy for future children. Her journey highlights both the emotional toll and her unwavering spirit to expand her family.

Katie Price has announced a heartbreaking miscarriage following her Christmas pregnancy excitement. The former model and TV star was eager to expand her family of five, given her recent IVF documentary journey with Carl Woods. However, after falling pregnant with her beau, JJ Slater, tragedy struck when scans revealed they had lost the baby—a devastating blow for the couple.

In light of this loss, Katie has teamed up with Tommy’s, a pregnancy and miscarriage charity, to help others facing similar grief. “I was just really sad because we went from joy and relief that I could get pregnant naturally, to confusion, heartbreak and sadness,” she shared.

Unexpectedly discovering her pregnancy after being told she was perimenopausal, Katie recounted that her unusual missed period led her to suspect something was up. Symptoms like sore breasts and nausea had her giving pregnancy tests, filled with both joy and worry, as she knew from past pregnancies that faint lines weren’t a good omen.

A clinic visit confirmed her fears—the baby was gone, leaving Katie heartbroken, especially after previously enduring three miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy. But Katie’s spirit remains unbroken as she considers IVF or surrogacy, motivated to expand her family further. “I know I’m not done. If I could have two more kids I would!” she exclaimed.

Though Katie acknowledges her age and potentially being pre-menopausal, she isn’t ready to close the baby factory just yet. “I didn’t realise until I did the IVF that when you’re born, you’re born with a set of eggs!” she mused. She’s on a quest for knowledge about her reproductive future, saying she might hit menopause in a couple of years.

Recently, she expressed her woes over disrupted sleep and chilly sweats, indicators that her body might be hinting at early menopause. “I’m not sleeping at night and I’m normally a really good sleeper, so something’s going on!” she shared. Meanwhile, she was spotted at the Agora Fertility Clinic, giving an update on her latest beauty enhancements and future family plans.
